Future Writing Projects

As you all know, I deeply enjoy the craft of storytelling. Having written two novels and a novella, which I thank you all for reading, I wanted to give you a glimpse into some of the writing projects that I am currently working on or have planned for the future.

Mercy!

This is the next novel I plan on releasing. Set in the rural town of Mercy, Kansas, the story will follow a farmer who is trying to purchase crop ground neighboring his farm, but runs into a number of obstacles and bizarre characters who have their own conflicting plans for the land and for the town.

My goal with Mercy! is to write a satirical and allegorical retelling of American history. In fact, my French-language podcast Mon Pote Américain started as nothing more than research into the cultural and philosophical origins of the country for the purpose of writing Mercy! It wasn’t until a series of conversations with my French friends and family that I realized that what I learned could be repurposed into a podcast for them.
